This immediately put me in the shoes of the woman getting hot and bothered by who I can only imagine as, her secret lover. It makes me want to know more. That’s a good thing. I was in the theater for some time. If I can picture this so clearly in my mind, then you are off to a good start.
VERY, easy to read, keeps the reader’s attention from the start, It makes you visualize being at the bank and standing in line. ( my mind did jump to myself being online at the bank and watching the Twin Towers get it). The way how you expressed how the woman was getting excited/aroused while in line, because of her special bank teller was very classy. As a woman, I could see that happening & understood how that felt. ( so your women readers can surely relate to that part).

I like your main character Brenda. I like how she’s strong & independent, but vulnerable at the same time. I think a lot of women would be able to relate to her. I like how you show her struggling to not have feelings for the married guy, but it seems as though she doesn’t want to continue dating the other available men she’s casually dating. I love it!

Ok, I finished and must say I’m invested in the thick of things already…. half hoping for a description of the young lady to satisfy my mental eyes of her. But yes …. it reads the way I like to read things…. and the bank line did some unexpected things too… Well I’ll keep that to myself.
Lord, Brenda was putting herself through it! The situation at the game was very uncomfortable! It’s an interesting read! Brenda has some capers in the excerpt you sent. I can only imagine what she gets into during the entire book!
